Hyperprolactinaemia
Hyperprolactinaemia means the blood carries more prolactin than normal. Prolactin is made by the pituitary gland at the base of the brain, and too much of it can disturb periods, reduce sex hormones, affect fertility or trigger breast milk outside pregnancy.
