How does Tadalafil work?
Tadalafil blocks an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which clears a chemical signal that keeps blood vessels in the penis relaxed and open. When sexual stimulation triggers the release of nitric oxide, tadalafil prevents PDE5 from breaking down the resulting signal, so smooth muscle stays relaxed and blood flows into the penile tissues.
Without sexual stimulation, tadalafil has no effect. It does not create an erection on its own; it sustains the one your body starts.

Cialis, made by Eli Lilly, is the original brand. The remaining seven products are generic or combination lines built on the same molecule, produced by manufacturers including Centurion Laboratories (Vidalista, Tadapox, Vidalista Black), Sunrise Remedies (Tadarise) and RSM Enterprises (Sildalis).
