How does Danazol work?
Danazol suppresses the hormones behind endometriosis and fibrocystic breast disease. For endometriosis, it shrinks the displaced uterine tissue that causes pain and abnormal bleeding. For fibrocystic breast disease, it blocks the hormone release behind breast pain and lumps. In hereditary angioedema, it raises a natural substance that prevents swelling attacks.
