How does Dapagliflozin work?
Dapagliflozin belongs to a class called SGLT2 inhibitors. These medicines block a specific gate in the kidney that normally pulls glucose back from urine into the blood. With that gate closed, more sugar leaves the body in urine and blood glucose levels fall.
