Mechanism of action
Inhibits the mitochondrial enzyme dihydroorotate dehydrogenase, blocking pyrimidine synthesis and suppressing autoimmune T-cell proliferation.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Pregnancy: Highly teratogenic. Do not use under any circumstances during pregnancy. Breastfeeding: Contraindicated.
